My career training skills have been honed in commercial and fine art, photography, digital print and web publishing, and business-communications.
My background and training is in Commercial Art and Fine Art. I chose to showcase both my Creative Arts under one website (Sherron.ca /Art by Sherron.com.)

It is in my nature to be versatile, and I appreciate the variety and flexibility of paint, print, and pixel.  My goal is to give my work a sense of movement and meaning and a journey that is guided with the discipline and format used in commercial art and with a passion for the freedom of fine art.

“A blending of commercial influenced and aesthetic expression – the technique of painting is informal, part gesture, part light and shade and colour. The overall impression is of intense energy and supreme stylishness.”

The Federation Art Gallery chose one of my paintings for a touring marine exhibition. “The painting is outstanding in that it breaks the rules of colour combining-and yet works beautifully” read the jury’s appraisal of her work.
“Sherron has been a wonderful artist to work with. She has produced several great commissioned paintings that I have given as cultural exchange gifts to my Japanese student tour groups, as well as pieces for my own home. Thanks Sherron.”

Leighton Akin, President, CanadaStay Holdings Inc.

“Sherron Fairbairn is a human artistic impression. She was put on earth to transfer her talent from thought to canvas and view finder to photo paper. She has been doing various works of art and photography for me and my business for over 15 years. No one takes more care and compassion in their work than Sherron. Very glad that she has come into her own and gifting the world with her God given talent.”

We have been a “British Importer” retail store for a number of years. We needed to get a message out through the web media on the products and services we had to offer. We have found that using radio, newspapers, community papers, other forms of advertising they have a one time exposure. We contacted Sherron Fairbairn to create a You Tube presentation.

We started with a few photos and ideas that I originally had and Sherron took the material and made it come alive. She has the skill and ability to make customers see your products and services as you want them seen. The worlds economy is tight and businesses have to get a return on their advertising or promotional dollar and I found with Sherron’s efforts I got great value for my dollar. If you have an idea, product or service that you want better exposed either through the print media or through the web media I would highly recommend Sherron Fairbairn as the person to undertake your project.
